Rose Nails for Valentine’s Day

As far as Valentine’s Day goes, I find it very hard to be even semi-original with nails. I went for the classic rose this week.

I used a black striper to make the outlines of the roses, then filled them in with green and red/pink polish. At the moment, I do not feel like searching for the bottles of polish I used, so if you do want to know what I used, comment and let me know :)

Before I bid you farewell, I’d like you to know something…

It’s true. I really do love you guys. Without you, I would feel pretty lonely in the nail blogging world. Even though I have no problem talking to myself, I really appreciate all of you showing interest in my nails. Thank you <3

  3. Your artwork is incredible! Yes, I would very much like to know the green and red/pink polish colors you used. Beyond that, it would be terrific if you could do a video tutorial to show how you used a black striper to make the outlines of the roses. I'm trying to envision how that could be done and I'm at a loss. It would be terrific to see an artist showing the technique used to create those roses. Thank you for considering it. :)

    1. Thank you very much! You're too nice! For my green polish I used Finger Paints - Go Van Gogh!, my red polish is Lacura - 406, and my pink polish is Finger Paints - Model Colour.
As far as a video tutorial- I would love to make video tutorials in the future; however, I do not have a tripod at the moment to hold my camera. Plus, I haven't a clue on how to make videos! If I do ever get a tripod, I will definitely make a tutorial on my roses!

    2. I'll keep my fingers crossed until then. It's just that I've never seen a design where the striper was used to make such elaborate, delicate and tiny lines. Thank you!
